all cm12.1 based roms (lollipop based) have the same bugs.The most important one that makes all of them unreliable is that when data connection is lost there is no automatic reconnection,you have to reboot the phone.Other issues (not found on all of them) are bluetooth connection,youtube bugs,data works on only one sim,sim deactivation bug,compatibility issues with some apps,broken hardware acceleration,camera resolution,playstore bugs when wrong gapps used and more.

Hi

I'm not experienced with changing roms. But my current rom [4.4.2] AOSP by maucat is pain in the ass. I need to change it as soon as possible. I can't connect it to my PC, it is not detected by my computer.

I would like to flash my Coolpad with Cyanogenmod 12.1, I have that rom on my Xiaomi Redmi 1S, and it's perfect. It has everything I want, the looks, runs smooth etc.

Tell me guys, can I use any rom made for Micromax Canvas Nitro A310/A311 telephones? I've read this phones are the same as our Coolpad F1 8297w. Is that right and I can flash all roms listed here? - http://forum.xda-developers.com/a310/development

I'm surprised that you have problems with the maucat ROM.

I've been using it basically since I got my F1 and I haven't had any real problems with it.

What version are you using?

What problems are you having?

Destiny133 and dalyer, thanks foe trying to help me.

@Destiny133 . Im using TWRP v2.4.4.

Good to know about the roms. I've noticed that a lot of roms for Canvas Nitro has some kind of fixes names as a310/311 fixes. Do I need to flash them If I use Coolpad F1, or just flash only the rom with no fixes?

@dalyer.

Yeah it's weird. I chose that rom because I was reading good opinions about it. But I'm not happy with it.

1. Im using this version - Photo 1

2. I need to use Air Droid to transfer my files from phone to PC.

From the beginning I was unable to connect that phone to my computer. I'm talking about that Mau rom. Before that rom I was able normal transfer files, I dont remember exact name but it was something like ASOP by Laek.

Here flash this new updated twrp

https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B_040j3ZkzcGNmF1ZDFRZmN0Q0U/view?usp=docslist_api

Then we can continue if you want to flash new rom :D

Thanks, I've installed that new recovery linked by you.

1. If next time asks me this again - Photo1, what should I choose? This time I've chose "Keep Read Only".

2. Some roms at XDA need older version of TWRP (2.8.6), can I downgrade my TWRP v3.0.1 to  v2.8.6 if needed?

No worry any rom can be installed on newest twrp version :)

@Destiny133 thanks.

Whats the most up to date Windows 7 x64 driver for Coolpad F1? I've installed earlier this driver -

But it didn't work for me. Maybe I've installed the wrong files or in the wrong order?

So whats the correct order? I've marked it as A-F. All I want to do is transfer files from my phone to PC (Windows 7 x64) nothing more.

Anybody got any recommendations on where to get a decent replacement batter for the F1 8297?

I.e. I want to avoid anything dangerous/liable to explode, a dud or one that has a lower than state capacity.

I can't find anything authoritative here or on other forum/sites...

Thanks.

Its same battery doesnt matter if you buy over banggood or aliexpress

For example,I have and one of my friends, otherwise I wouldnt recommend it.

Capacity is bigger 100 mah and battery has real capacity.

Battery with 2900 mah in this case isnt physical possible,these batteries usually have less (-400-500 mah )than real capacity.

You decide,cheers.

OK - thanks for the info.

I'm aware that it's necessary to be skeptical about claimed battery capacities and to try to verify them.

I also definitely don't want something that is crappy or dangerous!
