And i did it...

Instructions for installation

Mtkroms notes were very useful but this rom port is not taken from  mtkroms blog.

It's in Greek but using Google translation you can figure it out..

Once completed, I'll make a full installation guide in Greek /English.

Finally, a full functioning lollipop rom for coolpad f1... :)

Any fix for non-interactive ussd codes.

Hi folks!

Sorry to tell you but I won't visit the forum much now.

I just bought LeTV One x600 and Coolpad F1 will be forwarded to a family member or sold.

It was a nice time chatting and sharing F1 news here. :D

P.S.

Several other members bought LeTV too :)

I ended up buying one too such a great, yet cheap, phone. I needed a change it's been nearly a year and a half with this lovely Coolpad. I hope LeTV development grows some more like Coolpad did! Keep me informed about roms! :)

For the time being I'll be here. It's a Croatian /ex Yu China phone forum but you'll get the links right. :D

Many members are fluent in english so you may drop by and ask for help ;)

I was just starting to think about getting a new phone and pass this one along to someone :)

Would any of you guys with the x600 give us a quick comparison with F1? Just the basics (camera, battery, etc) and overall happiness?

It would be interesting to hear.

It would be interesting to hear.

LeTV x600 is mostly at the table these days since I'm fixing Lenovo A806 now.
(wife's ex phone, she grabbed my F1 now).

WiFi is OK, slightly weaker signal reception than that of F1 but it's OK.
Screen is better, phone is very fast with smooth transitions in UI.
Camera is better.
Battery is near that of F1.
IR remote is perfect :)
GPS is OK, didn't test it much.
It's very attractive and you can see it's made of top quality material.
Is supports MHL / OTG at type-c USB connector so you can connect it to monitor / telly HDMI

Screen glass doesn't have any frame so it can easily break when it hits hard floor surface.
So I ordered few cases with full frame cover. :)

Overall - I'm very happy with this purchase.

There is a huge discount these days at en.jd com - 16GB is 110 USD and 32GB model 124 USD ;)

Ahh thank you

So my phone just needs to be power offed and then i click start?

Yes. You need power of, and I always remove the battery for 1 minute. Then I usually put the battery back, but do not power on ! It works without battery too. First click start in YGDP then connect the phone ;-)

hahaha yes indeed it is Dakok, once i wrongly flashed one of ROM while i was in school. Actually i didn't flash it in a wrong way but ROM was having boot trouble and author posted fix 3 days later. Well i didnt do backup and didnt had any rom zip on my sd so i had to wait to come from school. so he could open the case (luckily i did it on my last subject so i only drained 20% of phone battery) :P

Got my LeTV and it's very very good, although I'm in need of an AOSP rom with stock camera and remote IR app.

Presume you've seen this already?

Edit: oh - just noticed - no IR remote. Sorry!

Well it's not something I might use A LOT as I'm used to not have, but it has slow motion video and that's enough. The rest is awesome, super smooth, awesome phone. I bought mine in GeekBuying, which is where I bought my last 3 phones and very good. 177€ aprox. (+ shipping tax), 32GB.

I do really like the look of the LeTV but am I the only one who isn't willing to jump ship because of no SD card slot and no removable battery? They are the only drawbacks for me :(

Very very sexy looking premium phone otherwise :D

Battery is removable at some point, because you can take out the back of the phone (for a wifi fix). Not having sd card in LP is ok, because then you won't have storage problems and such!
