Guest adeii Posted November 2, 2016 Report Posted November 2, 2016 (edited) Wifi, Mobile data, BlueTooth, Camera (5MPix) -- WORKS! GPS and RRO Layers - not tested yet, should works. Video - only software codec works. (Need to install 3rd party player, like MX Player) FM Radio has no sound at all - removed. Video - hardware codecs not work. Custom bootanimation (noisy, glitching, untuned Android logo) is added, maybe be stressful to someone, although it goes to blackscreen for few seconds before displaying "Apps are starting", you can delete /system/media/bootanimation.zip and you'll got official big text "android" on boot. Kernel adiutor root is 0.9.7.xxx, I've just downloaded 0.9.31.2 from APKmirror and it updates, you you must turn on "apply on boot" again.
Guest Mr Voland Posted November 3, 2016 Report Posted November 3, 2016 I was talking about updating from play store

Guest Garlast Posted November 5, 2016 Report Posted November 5, 2016 I absolutely love this rom, which governor would you recommend the most for battery life without lagging the performance?

I don't know if Ascend Y300 have this feature.

You need: chil360's kernel (has OTG support), root, app USB Host Check (to see do you have permissions: android.hardware.usb.host.xml and handheld_core_hardware.xml and they are enabled/green), also need to execute command "echo host > /sys/kernel/debug/otg/mode" in shell / terminal to start host mode and of course Y- cable (OTG-cable with external +5V DC via USB connector from PC and power supply)

Have you tried to turn off ADB debug and mount SD card as USB massive storage? Or ADB via WiFi?

Hyper, 245-1046Mhz, seems to be good. I/O 1024kb or higher; BFC. Turn intelli-plug, eco-performance mode to reduce blackscreen chances. Edited November 8, 2016 by adeii

This app? https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=org.tauruslabs.usbhostcheck&hl=it Yes, i always use chil360's kernel. And yes, that's the app. It sets permission 644 (or 777) to 2 XML files in /system/etc/permissions/ Maybe you need also app: [root] StickMount or USB OTG Helper [root], that detect and mount USB flash (of mouse) after "echo host > /sys/kernel/debug/otg/mode" command and inserting. Second one works for sure. other commands: "cat /d/otg/info</" - for status, a_host or b_peripheral, otg on or off "echo peripheral >/d/otg/mode" - for stopping otg host mode.
Guest Garlast Posted November 10, 2016 Report Posted November 10, 2016 (edited) I absolutely love this rom I can play nice games, the battery life is quite good which is outstanding since I had t¡never seen that happen on a lollipop rom coming form this forum. Guest Garlast Posted November 11, 2016 Report Posted November 11, 2016 Hey, I can't get microgapps to work, idk how to use it, really... I want to use google allo and hangouts, I installed xposed things, and activated ALL OF THE MODULES, REBOOTED AND IT STILL DOESN'T WORK, how can I fix that? I'm trying to find a google play services apk to overpass this situation but the ones I've downloaded do not install.

Maybe you should install and Lucky Patcher and enabled it in Xposed... and also patch Allo and Hangouts to remove dependancies (cause of ads). I will try lionheart gov. to see battery life... UPDATE: Try to install microG by flashing microG-Aroma-installer from recovery. Install all apps and xposed modules (like FakeGApps) and check all check-ins. Works on YouTube; Allo and Duo do not send me SMS (maybe regional fault); Hangouts 14.x has stopped... ;( UPDATE2: Hangouts 2.1 can sign-in, but force you install newer version. Hangouts 10.x works!!! It sign-in and suggest you to upgrade, ignore that. Edited November 19, 2016 by adeii
