Guest sherwinsm Posted October 19, 2009 Report Posted October 19, 2009 sorry, another noob question. i have just installed J6 rom by secany. is this applicable? why does it mentione this is for titanium? do i need to install this first? thanks a lot...
Guest gnikcals Posted October 19, 2009 Report Posted October 19, 2009 I installed TitaniumWeather successfully. But when I tried to install CDigiClock I get a RunRSS.mscr error. <<The file 'RunRSS' cannot be opened. Either it is not signed with a trusted certificate, or one of its components cannot be found. If the problem persists, try reinstalling or restoring this file.>> Same error message appears for DigiClockTime.mscr. I looked into the directory and RunRSS.mscr is there but not DigiClockTime.mscr. I reinstalled twice. Anything that I have done wrong?

Guest dgmorland Posted October 20, 2009 Report Posted October 20, 2009 i tried total commander but it doesn't work neither Edit the file on your PC then transfer it to a temporary folder on your phone (eg My Documents). Then use Total Commander to copy the file from the temporary folder to \Windows to replace the readonly (ROM) version.
Guest sys_error Posted October 20, 2009 Report Posted October 20, 2009 i also tried editing my CPRfile registry to point to Titanium instead of SPlugins..but it changes back to Splugins automatically. You cannot manually edit the CPRFile to point to Titanium instead of SPlugins; the only way you can do is to install a Titanium theme cab to overwrite the Samsung modified CHome into a pure Titanium CHome. The cons are you may not be able to use any Samsung modified "S" panels again. Example: SMusic is pointing to Touch Player CMusic is pointing to Windows Media Player SText is pointing to Samsung threaded SMS CText is pointing to WM6.5 Non-threaded SMS
Guest Omnius Posted October 20, 2009 Report Posted October 20, 2009 Finally.. Managed to get the cFacebook panel to work on my O2

Hi sys_error,if you overwrite the Samsung modified CHome into pure Titanium CHome, does that mean that for any future panel installation, the CPR code will updated automatically in the correct CPR file? i.e. no need to copy and paste code from one file to another? If also, can you provide the link to the Pure Titanium CHome cab?
Guest emperorben Posted October 20, 2009 Report Posted October 20, 2009 Finally.. Managed to get the cFacebook panel to work on my O2 Hi, your theme/wallpaper is NICE! Can share the tsk file or link?
Guest Omnius Posted October 20, 2009 Report Posted October 20, 2009 (edited) Hi Emperor... Enjoy :) Oh btw, I use the Rock and Republic theme and only change the wallpaper.. Edited October 20, 2009 by Omnius
Guest Omnius Posted October 20, 2009 Report Posted October 20, 2009 Thanks Omnius! Your welcome... btw, do you still have the original SPlugins cpr file without any modifications? I forgot to backup mine when changing the panels :)

If also, can you provide the link to the Pure Titanium CHome cab? You can install any ready-made Titanium theme cab (refer to your post #2 on 1st page) out there to overwrite the Samsung modified CHome into pure Titanium CHome, however you will lost the use of all the Samsung modified "S" panels. I'm quite sure if you copy/paste script for "S" panels into the Titanium CPR, you maybe able to use some of the panels.

Guest ruined Posted October 22, 2009 Report Posted October 22, 2009 hi guys, is it possible to configure a panel to open the program that i want? for example the "text" panel, instead of opening the samsung text program, i want it to open the one by windows. thanks
Guest Posted October 22, 2009 Report Posted October 22, 2009 I feel kind of embarrassed :) , this seems like a simple copy and paste but I can't overwrite the default CPR file in \Windows folder. I have tried using total commander to change the attributes(read-only), but it only reverts back to original. Titanium's Disabled, I don't think anything else could be using the file. Thanks if anyone can help, sure it is nothing big
