[WM6.5 Omnia 2] Solved!: How to enable new panels to the new WM6.5 plugin screen (Titanium)?

is this applicable? why does it mentione this is for titanium? do i need to install this first?

I installed TitaniumWeather successfully. But when I tried to install CDigiClock I get a RunRSS.mscr error. <<The file 'RunRSS' cannot be opened. Either it is not signed with a trusted certificate, or one of its components cannot be found. If the problem persists, try reinstalling or restoring this file.>> Same error message appears for DigiClockTime.mscr. I looked into the directory and RunRSS.mscr is there but not DigiClockTime.mscr. I reinstalled twice. Anything that I have done wrong?

hi all

I solution my problem

I modification the CDigiClock file (Titanium_480x800.cpr and Titanium_800x480.cpr)

so it looks better in WM7 Titanium project

also can enable SMusic (Samsung's panels) in WM7 Titanium project

but anyone knows how to make the CDigiClock point to Samsung's default alarm clock

i can't change the read-only attribute of Splugins.

i'm using vista, whenever i un-checked the read-only box and clicke "ok", when i check properties, the read-only is back.

what should i do?

How do you use some1 elses CPR file? I replaced the 1 inside the /windows folder

but when i use the Chome editor, the panels that the CPR files have does not show?

Is there also a way to edit files inside the /windows folder by using the comp? Total commander is for use inside the phone?

Edit the file on your PC then transfer it to a temporary folder on your phone (eg My Documents). Then use Total Commander to copy the file from the temporary folder to \Windows to replace the readonly (ROM) version.

You cannot manually edit the CPRFile to point to Titanium instead of SPlugins; the only way you can do is to install a Titanium theme cab to overwrite the Samsung modified CHome into a pure Titanium CHome.

The cons are you may not be able to use any Samsung modified "S" panels again.

Example:

SMusic is pointing to Touch Player

CMusic is pointing to Windows Media Player

SText is pointing to Samsung threaded SMS

CText is pointing to WM6.5 Non-threaded SMS

You can install any ready-made Titanium theme cab (refer to your post #2 on 1st page) out there to overwrite the Samsung modified CHome into pure Titanium CHome, however you will lost the use of all the Samsung modified "S" panels.

I'm quite sure if you copy/paste script for "S" panels into the Titanium CPR, you maybe able to use some of the panels.

is it possible to configure a panel to open the program that i want?

for example the "text" panel, instead of opening the samsung text program, i want it to open the one by windows.

I feel kind of embarrassed :) , this seems like a simple copy and paste but I can't overwrite the default CPR file in \Windows folder.

I have tried using total commander to change the attributes(read-only), but it only reverts back to original.

Titanium's Disabled, I don't think anything else could be using the file.

very easy step, rename the file u want to copy into windows, copy it into windows folder, then rename back whatever it is, soft reset. u r done.
