thanks so much. i have another question, on your experience and personal opinion, what you think is the best if not better ROM than Smart, around? ive heard qtek, orange, and more but am uncertain what to really get.

I've used the spvunlock2.0 and succesfully got the unlock code for my Orange spv e100 (bootloader 1.10, rom 1.6.1.10) but wasn't able to enter the code. I have read in previous posts that this is normally due to SMART software versions 1.5 upwards.

However, whilst I was unable to enter the code, I was able to use my Vodafone UK PAYT sim card to a degree: it allows me to send/receive SMS and receive calls but will not allow me to call out. Is this a problem with the unlocking process or have I just done something really stupid with my phone to stop me from dialing out?

Check that line two is not activated (press and hold the # key), if your vodaphone SIm works with the phone without having to enter the code then your phone is already unlocked :)

First off you need Win XP or 2K on your PC for the app to work.

Place your phone in the canary screen, then on your PC in task manager end the wcescomm.exe

Now run the SIMunlock V2 app. this will then give you the unlock code you need.

Place your T-Mobile SIM in your phone and start it up.

When prompted to enter the unlock code.

And that's it :lol:

Ive got an E100 and just wanted to know that if i unlock it would it work on 3G ? Im thinking of getting the £2.99 3G 500 mins 100 txts a month with a free crappy motorola and using my SPV with the 3G sim.

Hey guyz, i own a SAP1 with vers 1.7..and i learned from my previous readings that i need to downgrade it to QTEK ROM 1.50 to unlock my phone from my current network, SMART, ryt? But i also read from someone who posted that it's impossible to unlock the phone with ver1.7 since SMART had made necessary steps to prevent this from occuring. I'm just confused on what to do and these two things are quite contradictory, ryt? So, if ever u have tried this before, pls help me with the steps. I'll be very glad. Thanx in advance.

I put a SIM, power "on"

It write : "Invalid or missing SIM card, if the problem persists, contact your customer service center for assistance"

I have the code of unlock gotten with "SPVUnlock2c.exe"

How must make me to unlock it ?
