Guest spud693 Posted October 7, 2004 Report Posted October 7, 2004 any news on the fix for the backlight timeout issue ? i know i can disable the timeout but thats not really that good a solution. Posted from my SmartPhone!
Guest homer_j_s Posted October 17, 2004 Report Posted October 17, 2004 BustEm works 100% and is a wicked game, very addictive. Only 1 prob is controling it with the roller thingy, not quite as agile as a joystick but it is easily solved if u assign buttons 2,4,6 & 8 as up, left, right & down repectively, then it is best if 5 is used as action key.
Guest muff Posted October 17, 2004 Report Posted October 17, 2004 any news on the fix for the backlight timeout issue ? i know i can disable the timeout but thats not really that good a solution. Posted from my SmartPhone! well I posted up some code for this a while back now, so it's down to coders to add to their projects
Guest Confucious Posted October 22, 2004 Report Posted October 22, 2004 Anyone going to update this list? Gringos now works (with update) so presumable others do too?
Guest Disco Stu Posted October 22, 2004 Report Posted October 22, 2004 Good point ! Have had no problems with Pool Challenge or Gold Mine, either flickering or time-out freezes.
Guest The PocketTV Team Posted October 23, 2004 Report Posted October 23, 2004 I heard Orange posted a firmware upgrade for the C500, which fixes the GAPI bug. So this makes this thread obsolete ?
Guest Disco Stu Posted October 23, 2004 Report Posted October 23, 2004 Not for those with more nimble fingers than me, who still complain about the multi-keypress issue
Guest midnight Posted October 23, 2004 Report Posted October 23, 2004 indeed, they've now created a new bug, no multipress at all
Guest Oscar Mopperkont Posted October 23, 2004 Report Posted October 23, 2004 Not for now....there aren't any snes emulators out there that work with the c500.....I'm waiting for 1 too because i want to play some Chrono-Trigger and Final Fantasy on my c500 I don't have a c500 yet, but check this link: https://www.handango.com/secureDownload.jsp...secw%3D3ef0c11f There's a SNES emulator which works on the c500 ^_^
Guest markdotpeters5 Posted October 24, 2004 Report Posted October 24, 2004 seems to get to the first screen of every game then bomb out for me...
Guest Steve___ Posted October 25, 2004 Report Posted October 25, 2004 Hope this isn't old news but this SNES emulator works fine on my C500: http://www.surrealservices.dsl.pipex.com/p...pocketsnes.html
Guest markdotpeters5 Posted October 25, 2004 Report Posted October 25, 2004 aye, that version on the page you linked does appear to work. Tried turning sound on and it crashed, but hey-ho ^_^ Can't have everything I guess :D
Guest xerxes Posted November 20, 2004 Report Posted November 20, 2004 Can anyone tell me if there is a way to mute the loudspeaker on the c500 so everybody on my train to work doesn't have to hear me losing at SPV Invaders? I've tried using the volume buttons but they don't seem to have any effect.
Guest awarner [MVP] Posted November 21, 2004 Report Posted November 21, 2004 Either turn the sound down before playing the game  Or just read the readme.txt that comes with SPV Invaders as it has a volume control built into the game.
Guest Cabana Posted November 23, 2004 Report Posted November 23, 2004 How do you turn down the volume outside of a game?
Guest Confucious Posted November 23, 2004 Report Posted November 23, 2004 How do you turn down the volume outside of a game? With the volume buttons on the side of the phone.
Guest Cabana Posted November 24, 2004 Report Posted November 24, 2004 I did that, it only adjusts the earpiece volume, not the speakerphone. I have a 5600.
Guest Pulse Posted November 25, 2004 Report Posted November 25, 2004 Anyone tried trivial pursuit on it?
Guest Disco Stu Posted November 25, 2004 Report Posted November 25, 2004 Anyone tried trivial pursuit on it? Is that an emulator game ?
