Guest Dade Posted September 11, 2004 Report Posted September 11, 2004 Drivers arent the issue. Whats important is that for USB connections you need a USB Host (Master) and a USB 'slave' device. The C500 is, and can only be, a 'slave' so that would mean that the keyboard or joypad device would have to act as the USB Host (master) which is Unlikely to say the least! www.usb.org for more info.
Guest dijital Posted September 11, 2004 Report Posted September 11, 2004 meh, i think ive found a non technical solution to the problem, can somone recommend a game or emulator that allows me to redefine ALL the keys? i.e. up, down etc as well as the action buttons. Thanks
Guest midnight Posted September 11, 2004 Report Posted September 11, 2004 well, the none-technical solution is to redifine the keys so they are all keypad keys and dont use the joystick :)
Guest Dade Posted September 11, 2004 Report Posted September 11, 2004 I suppose there is a low tech solution - A clip on joystick that fits over the keypad. there was a N*kia clip on a few years back.
Guest Marko31 Posted September 11, 2004 Report Posted September 11, 2004 Well yes, but it's not really practical ... ;(
Guest dijital Posted September 11, 2004 Report Posted September 11, 2004 hey the clip on joystick thing is working for me :) im using a old mini joypad from one of my dreamcast VMU's and its sits on the keys 2, 6, 8, and 6 pretts well.. just need to have the option to redine keys in games now
Guest Dade Posted September 11, 2004 Report Posted September 11, 2004 Dijital, how about posting up some photos of that for us?
