Guest chucky.egg Posted March 21, 2005 Report Posted March 21, 2005 Any news on what is going to happen to this poll? Now it's dropped off the Portal new votes will slow down quite a lot, so is it going to be sent to Oran... the network concerned now?
Guest PayableOnDeath Posted March 21, 2005 Report Posted March 21, 2005 dont think it got any new votes for a while anyway so then any news?
Guest chucky.egg Posted April 11, 2005 Report Posted April 11, 2005 Any news on where this is going? It's been 2 months now since the poll started and the figures seem to have stabilised. Is this just another poll/petition that isn't actullay going anywhere? Anyone remember the Petition for Flat Rate GPRS? Do you believe that your SPV NEEDS Flat Rate GPRS to be worthwhile? Do you feel the networks aren't listening to the customer with regards to GPRS charging? Would you consider switching networks to get Flat Rate GPRS? Then sign the 'Petition for Reasonably Priced Flat Rate GPRS' by CLICKING HERE We CAN make a difference! (apparently not, Ed) ..... We have already received well in excess of ONE THOUSAND responses, and increasing fast! I think the results should give all the networks real reason to worry... A staggering 92.1%, that's well over a thousand of you, WOULD consider changing operators in order to take advantage of reasonably priced flat rate GPRS.
Guest Confucious Posted April 11, 2005 Report Posted April 11, 2005 No, I didn't remember that petition so I've just signed it........ We'll probably get flat rate GPRS when the first 5G phones come out :D
Guest exosyphen Posted April 11, 2005 Report Posted April 11, 2005 Well, not really flat-rate GPRS .... but it can get a lot cheaper with using Mobile Speed, which actively compresses data, hence reducing your costs. More info : http://www.mobile-speed.com
Guest nedge2k Posted April 11, 2005 Report Posted April 11, 2005 Just signed up for that but o2 payg uk already uses a proxy to access the net. Is the a way to proxy a proxy? I remember being able to do it with urls e.g. 193.113.200.195:[email protected]
