Hi DS Will c550 have MS 2005?

I don't think there is a definitive answer to this yet. It's very possible, especially since the original availability dates that were being mentioned are slipping away. But then they always do anyway !

He does say "almost certainly" so it's not the definative answer - maybe we will be suprised!

Well I've gone back to 2.5G because it lets you receive calls and email/wap is quicker. And that's in a major city.

No probs with Orange 3G on my 6630, lovin' the high speed browsing and a nice (if bulky) compliment to my MDA Compact. Wondering if i can get the 6630 to act as a BT modem for the PPC ;p

Got an Update 4 U!

I have a friend that works within Orange and I asked him about the SPV C550.....will not be available until the end of NEXT MONTH!!! (31/06/05) as they usually get the specs and datasheets on the phone and features 1 month in advance and no earlier (as they have to be trained on the phone)

If you find that provider let us know who it is. AFAIK all the UK providers have major faults and Orange probably less so than most - sad isn't it!

I think you'd be extremely lucky to get an accurate answer to a standard CS email address regarding a pre-release product.

Surely that is just the response of an OCS bod that is saying 'I haven't got a bastard clue what you are talking about. If it's not Nokia, don't ask me? The average bod at Orange has never had a clue about Smartphones!
