I called imate service a few days ago, and they sucked. They told me to ask a friend if they thought the slider on my device was a bit loose. And they barely spoke english. o2 support was heaps better.

I've never phoned imate, but I have used their online 'live help' a few times. They were actually very helpful (it was around the time when the SP3i had a GAPI problem. They gave me email address to send info, and I got replies back almost straight away) - needless to say, the GAPI bug was fixed a few months later with the release of a new ROM...

I mean, a GAPI bug isn't really a big deal (considering the phone isn't really a gaming device), and can be bypassed by writing new gfx code. But still, they obviously listened to their customers.
