Guest shadamehr Posted December 8, 2005 Report Posted December 8, 2005 Once again, as per my post higher up, I repeat again, that for this to work, users must: a) Be running in Bluetooth Unsecure mode :) Be set to discoverable all the time, and c) Accept incoming BT beams from unknown and potentially malicious devices. Every single thing every phone manufacturer, and security company tells you explicitly NOT to do as a matter of course. So let me re-iterate that whilst I don't begrudge these developers their hard earned cash, I have to repeat that for this to even work, their product relies on a user doing everything security companies and handset manufacturers explicity recommend they do not do. Now, call me a bore, but that seems a bit of irresponsible developing to me... *lol*
