Firstly, I'm sorry for the delay in replying to you, this is due to the increasing popularity of our email service. I can understand the disappointment that this has caused. I realise that having the right phone is important to you, and I'm pleased you've emailed me to help. I've checked this for you and at the moment I can't tell you if this phone will be released by us in the future. I can understand this may be disappointing, but we are constantly expanding our range of phones. Please visit our website on a regular basis to keep up to date with the new phones that we release. I held out on getting a Vario 1 and missed out on their 25% off discount ...... why cos I thought the Vario 2 was coming in May/June .... Guest Pondrew Posted June 30, 2006 Report Share Posted June 30, 2006 Thought this was the best place to post what I've just been told by one of the reps in T-Mobile Retentions to (successfully) stop me from taking my pac number and moving to O2 (for the XDA IQ and a better signal at home): According to this gent the MDA Vario II (I didn't even mention it, he raised it and referred to it as such) is due out during the first two weeks of July! Well, it obviously wasn't June and I personally have doubts it'll be out in July BUT it's interesting that he was willing to say that on the record. My friend's contract came to an end last week and he was told the same thing by T-Mobile - don't upgrade to a Vario because the Vario II is due in the next 2 weeks. I hope so!
