Firstly I would like to draw peoples attention to the following topics:

In the 2nd link above I still have not received my phone back from Insight. They are refusing to repair it or replace it saying that I have broken it which is not the case. HTC now have my phone and want me to pay £92 + vat to replace the screen which is ridiculous seeing as it took them 5 weeks to get to this conclusion and this would mean over half the cost for me to just buy a new one. I have asked if they can just sell me a screen and I will fit it myself, to which they have refused saying it will invalidate my warranty which by the looks of it isn't worth anything anyway. It seems you cannot buy the screens elsewhere so they are more or less holding me to ransom. I am not going to pay that amount to have my screen fixed (mainly through prinipal) so it seems I have paid over £200 for a phone that I have hardly used. I have also asked if they can lower the price of the repair just to conclude the issue as I am sure a new screen does not cost that much to which they have refused. My friends E650 had exactly the same fault and was replaced by Orange in days so I do not see what the problem is.

I shall not be purchasing HTC again which is a shame as I quite liked the phone in general.
