i little???? wtf are you saying the battery is freaking amazing now!!!

i had my phone charged at 50% and i have been out for 4 hours, texting, talking, emailing, and taking pictures and im only at 38%

the battery life is really good now

how can I get the abc mode back. I cant get abc mode in any program ( includes internet explorer and others).. its driving me nuts.. :)

Is battery life really that much better? Can someone go about their daily routine and tell how much of a difference the battery life is?

hey guys i need some help, i was reinstalling my stuff after the update...and had some registry keys backed up, and i apparently replaced some keys and the audio postcard option is not there anymore, so i was wondering if anyone could post their

HKLM/Software/Microsoft/CHome/CMessage keys...thanks :)

push the * key and choose the abc mode

does it help?

I am pretty much in agreement with everyone's feelings about this update. I was hoping that 6.1 would be a part of it. I did get a response yesterday morning from T-Mobile. It's pretty funny(below). It looks like they didn't even know about it after it was actually available, just a rumor it would be soon. I got this after we all found it!

2.Sign in the website

3.On the top right hand side where you see your name

4.Click on the link ? My Profile?

5.You will see four options general, billing, communication and account

permissions.

6.Click on ?Communication?

7.Scroll down to ?Communication preferences?

8.Check the options you would like to be contacted on.

9.Click on update.

We do not know when an update will be out for the Shadow but we did hear

soon an update is going to be out. If there is an update you will need

1. select the device make

2. Select the device model

How ironic: Their screen shots on the Update page all still have the large E in the center. :)

Why would you not want the big E icon? :)

Oh, don't get me wrong, I do want it... its just funny that the very update they're advertising gets rid of it, that's all. Someone in QA must've fallen asleep. :D

Yeah, exactly! Those having issues with the icon, do you mean the large one supposedly removed or the little one over the signal bars?

WOW has anyone compared the registry yet?

i just got done with it and alot has changed!!!

im testing a few things now. if you know alot about registry editing i suggest you compare both the old and new regs.

appearently microsoft/t-mobile didnt tell us that there is a s**t load more support for bluetooth models now, more security, etc.

all the minor details are important to know as well -___- look like we will have to find them ourselves lol

I recently upgraded and think it has helped the phone run better and the battery lasts a little longer. I went on a road trip today and the big "E" showed up in the tool bar at the top while I was roaming.

can someone please upload this somewhere and post a link to the actual download? I know someone who doesn't have a shadow, but wants the update for cooking purposes...

lol.. I just posted a topic about this too... I guess I should have read the new posts before.

i just bought the shadow like a few days ago since my gravity got stolen it already had the firmware in it when my friend didnt have the fimware in it he saw mine so he downloaded it deffinetly worth it :(
