Guest broli Posted April 3, 2010 Report Posted April 3, 2010 Charge the battery broli, or try to power on the phone while on charge with no battery in and then put the battery in. Yes it seems like the culprit was a zombie battery. I don't know why but for some reason it's really difficult to get it charging with the wall charger, it only worked once. I had to revive the battery by "manually" charging it a bit, I did this by using a nokia 5 volt adapter I had laying around which I cut the end off and made the plus and minus wires show. I just touched these two wires to the + and - of the battery for about 30 min. Now the phone can start again and I'm leaving it to charge with the usb cable. So I think my wall charger is just bad.
Guest ritchboix Posted April 18, 2010 Report Posted April 18, 2010 (edited) i bricked my 0mnia i900v the result being i only get a red power button on the top of the activating emergency mode does not fix this problem if it could be mentioned in the original posts it'd prob help alot of people from troubleshooting this method *note i did manage to get into emergency mode but it asked me to reset my handset which is impossible. ( took out battery, tried hard reset and soft reset - unresponsive). Edited April 18, 2010 by ritchboix
