Your graphics are beautifull and i m very enthusiast about it ! B)

But i known Omnishell must be finished For Omnia user before anybody trying to port the real Omnishell for other device...

i work on parrallel from your screenshot, it s very hard for me, i m a Newbie but very enthusiast ! B)

Don't Stop Hellbender and Coder's Team, YOU can realise this project... I m FAN with another Device...

hi,

i try to run this program through my notebook(vista) but unfortunately it come out eror.not a valid 32 application

so i put this file exe into my storage card and run.it pop u a screen,require me to unlock by swinging it

after swing it,open and revert back to original omnia.

btw,i dl this from the 1st pages,

this look cool from the pic i saw,and have to said well done to the developer,well done!!

Your idea to creat a S2P adaptation with omnishell skin is a very good idea.

I already though about a music player, it's in the project diagram we made, i just didn't do the design yet. The lesscro one is a good start. I will think about it, but i don't know when it will be ready.

Time Reaction is due of number of script to hide, show, animation in each page in each dock and button... WAD2 play in order each action...

It s an other restriction... <_<

And Music Player must be cool idea... but i think Hellbender must concentrate first in priority, Music player is a Bonus... B)

Just an idea, make a windows mobile theme with Omnishell and a Samsung mobile omnishell when we light on the pda.

Its just a "bonus" with wallpaper but with a "patch installation", it seems to be more easy to instal and we will have a great personalization B)

Well this completely didnt work for me lol. First when I downloaded the app straight to my phone it didnt come up as a rar application which is wierd. Then when I ran the OmniLock.exe My screen turned black and the only way to exit was through soft reset. The date showed up fine but everything else was all messed up.

Well, I just spent a couple hours reading from the first page to now. I originally saw this off of XDA, and finally saw this on modaco.

I have experience with Java (similar to C++) and Flash. Never programmed for winmo or ppc.. and my coding experiencing is pretty limited (i'm still in college) and i doubt i'm anywhere near as good as speelomaniac or deimoslp, but i have winter break coming up so i'll have a lot of free time. I could probably read up on the APIs and see if I can help out. Can't guarantee anything but I really am interested in this shell and hope to have it on my phone soon.

Yes, as usual for us (Italian people) distinguish idea and graphics (the italian style!). It would be interesting, however, know the percentage of programmers coming! It is not nice post in Italian on an international forum.

In the first post I stated " ...this is just eyecandy stuff...." and " ...i regret the lack of cool interfaces " and again "...maybe not be top usability around...".

First, WM isn't neither of them, so almost any alternative is better.

Second, if I would beat all the other interfaces out there i would make this a job and you should pay for it (SPB mobile shell isn't free, and Manilla is a port of a htc interface and i'm always asking myself if there is or not some kind of copyright infringements using their graphics for the port, if not the concept itself).

This isn't the instance.

Third, i said from the beginnins that i wouldn't have the WM bars visible, they are NOT finger friendly, i'm not changing idea right now cause i though about it before.

Fourth, if you want to customize your Interface at the very bottom you don't need this, you need a better skin for another interface, i'm not making a clone od Home Screen Plus Plus, or Todaylife, or Manilla. If you feel better with those, stick to them.

This is different, not necessarily the best for you.

About the integration, if I should integrate my design inside windows mobile I would have to make it way uglier, or similar to other things around (visually speaking), as you can see every function that is not included in the touchflo interface (and they are many) is Windows Mobile interface, and the only thing touchflo does is launch things from its interface, very few more information than the standard samsung todays.

So no big effort of integration in terms of design, the only one is that touchflo is a today plugin, and I didn't want to do a plugin.

About the performance, I don't agree with you, SPB Mobile shell is quite performant even not being a plugin but an overlaying app.

Take this as my opinion, not an attack toward you.

PS: BTW, Manilla 2D IS infact a shell. No new functionality but the touchflo and the weather panel.

In SPB I couldnt even receive a notification or manage that notification because the shell skins over the taskbars. WM alarms cannot be managed because the user cannot see the menu or notification to: Sleep 5,10,15 mins, Dismiss etc.

All Im saying if you want something other than another mere WAD or SPB (as seen the gfx and functionalities are easily created with WAD) shell then it needs to be original and integrated into the OS not over it, otherwise it just wont be popular, for long anyway. Windows Mobile hasnt changed for many yrs and one application wont change it either, I like the gfx but it still reminds me of M2D M3D icons etc, in saying that I wouldnt change the gfx its beautiful.

One other consideration is that without functionality all you have here is eye-candy and nothing more, please consider exposing the softkeys and StartMenu bar after all it can be skinned with theme files and even changed with WA3 without loss of function.
