Guest Brambo22 Posted December 15, 2008 Report Posted December 15, 2008 Hey everybody, im new here and i´d like to say that you guys are doin a fantastic job!!! I´m very impressed!! reading through those 16 pages i was wondering if its possible to make a dualboot system...(just being curious =)) in that case it could be easier to test it and have a working phone at the same time. The only suggestion i have at this point is a book by Steve Krug: Don´t make me think. Again, you´re doin a great job!!! Peace, Brambo22
Guest Spica Posted December 15, 2008 Report Posted December 15, 2008 Hey guys, I've got a friend whos a programmer with C++ Was wondering if i could get the source codes for him to look at? Its pretty late now as i write this message so i'll ask him tomorrow if he could to anything for a Winmo ^^ see ya
Guest Beta Lam 2008 Posted December 15, 2008 Report Posted December 15, 2008 how nice !!! I am looking for the fully function for these new graphic interface, I tested the "lock" , it's work, however, it's seems can't receive the call during the "lock" or in the spinner menu... Expecting the new coming verion
Guest papajay224 Posted December 15, 2008 Report Posted December 15, 2008 I cant code man but I can donate for something like this. It looks slick  This is pretty amazing, Im defenatly tired of "copy cat" diamond and iphone shells, your demo is really nice. I cant wait for an update!
Guest papajay224 Posted December 15, 2008 Report Posted December 15, 2008 Im not trying to attack you either Hellbender  I saw on the first page you were asking for feedback and or constructive criticism? Infact M2D is not a shell its a today plugin that integrates within the WM/HTC software and is the sole reason so many ppl left SPB, WAD etc.... In SPB I couldnt even receive a notification or manage that notification because the shell skins over the taskbars. WM alarms cannot be managed because the user cannot see the menu or notification to: Sleep 5,10,15 mins, Dismiss etc. All Im saying if you want something other than another mere WAD or SPB (as seen the gfx and functionalities are easily created with WAD) shell then it needs to be original and integrated into the OS not over it, otherwise it just wont be popular, for long anyway. Windows Mobile hasnt changed for many yrs and one application wont change it either, I like the gfx but it still reminds me of M2D M3D icons etc, in saying that I wouldnt change the gfx its beautiful. One other consideration is that without functionality all you have here is eye-candy and nothing more, please consider exposing the softkeys and StartMenu bar after all it can be skinned with theme files and even changed with WA3 without loss of function. NO! NO! NO!...Screw this GUY! he has points but forget him I want to see your progress, Stick with your Idea and LAND it, If he knows soo much let him build a UI and try and stamp it over WinMO. Shell or no shell you have a great looking UI and I CANT WAIT! My i910 is hurtin for a squirtin!

Peace, Brambo22 Yes we know that, the next release will have a new, functional incoming call screen which will pass throu all our applications. About the dual boot, this isn't (my bad) an operating system, it works under WM, so you can (I figure) activate and deactivate it just like you do with Manilla. We will try to release almost fully functional modules from now on, or at least nothing that prevents you from using your normal programs on WM, (when possible). Guest hansdotcom Posted December 15, 2008 Report Posted December 15, 2008 This is amazing. Tested OmniLock and it looks great, works great. Can't wait for your next release. Tell us Santa - any chance of a nice surprise in time for xmas?
Guest tommyG Posted December 16, 2008 Report Posted December 16, 2008 Wow, the look of this thing is great!! i love the neon line theme. i tried the omnilock and it works great, like all the thers have said lol. id like the lock to swing at the bottom, as in if you bring it halfway up to unlock it and release it, it would swing down to the bottom nd not stop straight at the 6 oclock position. it would make it look more natural. only a sugestion, great work guys cant wait for a finished product. Tom

SCREW u TOO! I offered an opinion or another point of view, isnt that what a forum is all about, did I attack him as you have me? Its ppl like you that is the sole reason other ppl (developers etc) will not share stuff!
Guest Brother Chenmo Posted December 17, 2008 Report Posted December 17, 2008 I lovin it!!! Help better.
Guest MikeTay Posted December 18, 2008 Report Posted December 18, 2008 I tried the Omnilock. It freezes when there is an incoming call so cannot unlock to receive the call. Other than this, its great.

Hellbender... What s news ? Well actually we are working on the calling functions, which are vital for the next release. After that we will work a little more on the launcher, too bad actually Speleomaniac isn't available. We are working on the project, just be patient. We can't see a release before christmas, a lot of things to do yet before giving you all a fine working version. The good news for Lesscro is that we have finally implemented the XML configuration for the lock layout, so you will be able to adapt it to your resolution. Edited December 18, 2008 by Hellbender

Guest merlot Posted December 19, 2008 Report Posted December 19, 2008 (edited) How do I get the .rar file to work on the omnia?? I don't know how to download it please help lol You have to unrar the file (normally on your desktop computer) and put them to your mobile. There you can run the included EXE file. Guest existence1 Posted December 19, 2008 Report Posted December 19, 2008 You have to unrar the file (normally on your desktop computer) and put them to your mobile. There you can run the included EXE file. Really great project! But I also tried to open the exe file on my omnia, but it doesn't work. The screen becomes different coloured stripes and nothing happens. I had to restart the phone. What I'm doing wrong?
Guest lutharigno Posted December 22, 2008 Report Posted December 22, 2008 Great work to everyone involved! i can't wait for the next release!
Guest nalpt Posted December 22, 2008 Report Posted December 22, 2008 Hellbender, Excellent interface project  . Can't wait for a more functional version. Heres my feedback on the screen lock demo on my Omnia. I found it very difficult (as compared to S2U2) top unlock in protrait mode, because the curve is difficult to make with one's fingers in a single, flowing stroke and the slider falls back too fast to the locked position. On landscape mode it was a little easier, but often I ended up using the back (flat) side of the stylus to unlock. I would suggest the foloowing improvment: making the flow motion cumulative and slower to return to locked position. I.E.: if one spins the unlock dial halfway at first, it should allow to pick up where it was left off sliding back down slowly and after a few seconds, so that it maybe restarted from its last position and not the initial position. Maybe it was just me (finger size) or my screen protector from Clear Protector, that has less slick/slippery feel than other screen protectors I've used on this and other devices. Keep up the good work nalpt
Guest xbladr Posted December 23, 2008 Report Posted December 23, 2008 This looks great and I will be keeping an eye on this I cant wait for something better than whats already out there.
