Awesome ROM! The only problem I've been having and I'm sure it's probably an easy fix but I can't seem to find it is whenever I hold the phone horizontally and hit the all programs button on the home screen I get a message saying "Chosen skin doesn't support your screen". Anyone know what could be causing this?

Just wanna say that I'm loving the rom so far blazingwolf! I had been using WoZZeRs but I'm just not impressed with the performance of 6.5 so far, its not quite mature enough imho. So I wanted to go back to 6.1, and this is perfect. with MS3.

All programs? Do you mean TouchLaunch (it doesn't have a landscape skin, not sure if one can be made or not I need to do more investigation on that) or something else?

Yeah, this phone is working exactly the way I want it too right now. To the fine detail. So, unless something really impressive comes out, I'll probably have this rom on here for a long time. A+ release.

Yeah that's what I meant, my bad.

OK, I plan to look in to it. I'll let you know what I find.

Thank you Blaze for such a wonderful ROM. Been using it for a couple of days and it has been stable for me. I was on Wozz's 6.5 ROM, but as many here, I bailed when my phone would freeze. I like your ROM, and it hasn't had any issues for me. So thank you for that.

I do have one question though. When I put my phone on vibrate, my text messages and email messages don't alert me. I noticed this with Wozz's ROM as well. Is this something with the leaked Vz ROM? Is there a workaround for this? Anyone else having this issue?

Thanks again.

This is something I have to look in to. I'm not sure when the problem started but I know I would like to have it fixed too.

Just throwing the obvious out here because sometimes thats the best place to start, but did you check the vibrate option on mms, sms, email messeges in your notifications settings?

Edit: I just tested mine on vibrate and sent myself an sms. Works fine for me. I'm still running the previous release, when you first put MS3 into it.

Good point. I forgot about that setting.

Here is my first crack at an i910 ROM. This first one is a mostly clean ROM with a few additions that I like to use myself. This should be considered a beta ROM and installing it is at your own risk.

Added:

Soft key applet

Outstanding piece of work! I've waited for a while for the "official" ROM release but decided to go for it today when none came.

I'm very impressed with your diligent work on this. I do want to share something with you that you might find useful in a future version.

The program is called "KeySwop" and allows a link to pretty much any file you want as an entry for the softkeys.

I hope you find it useful.

Thanks again for sharing.

I completely spaced that feature. It was checked by default earlier, I never thought to check that this time. Thanks for the help. Sorry for the newb question.

So I did this last night and it fixed the vibrate, but now it vibrates and rings when it is on volume. Never did this before. Do I have another setting that is checked incorrectly somewhere?

Nah, thats part of the setting, Like vibrate and ring for the normal ringer. I personally like the vibe and notify because I cant always hear the sound notification.

Please remember that this ROM is made for me but I am sharing it with you. Things I add or remove is up to me. I will gladly take suggestions but will not listen to demands.

I need to thank the following people for helping me get this ROM done: azintegra, WoZZer999

5-6-09 Update: Added Pim Backup, TouchLaunch, removed TVout and other items.

4-20-09 Update: Added personalizer and removed some more files and registry items that were not needed. smile.gif

Things I am working on:

GUI (I am looking at using ThrottleLauncher as my front end)

Video player (WMP works but I would like to have something else)

1-Calc (new skin)

Other items as suggested

ROM changes:

Items removed:

Business Card Reader

Connected Home

Digital Frame

Infrared Drivers

Main Menu

Testing exes (there are a bunch of testing items in this ROM due to its beta status, those are removed)

Text Messsage Retry

Touch Player

Transcriber

TVout (the icon in the settings menu is still ther but does nothing)

Video Editor

Visual Voice Mail

Welcome Center (completely removed and screen alignment preset, you may need to tap the start menu button to get the today screen to load)

Widgets

Windows Update

Zoomer

And more...

Updated:

.net 3.5

Added:

1-Calc (needs a new skin, this does not fill the screen yet)

Advanced Config 3.3

Baf's GPS Toggler

ICS

Pim Backup

Samsung Today 2

S2P (replaces Touch Player for Music)

Spb Screenshot

Soft key applet

Spb Screenshot on the camera button

Guava Bubbles is the new today theme

Most of the items here have been removed by me by hand.

If you encounter any issues please post a bug or issue report in this thread so that I may investigate the issue.

How to flash this ROM:

Use UMDL and click on the PDA button. Browse to the location where you placed the bin file and click on open. The file will load. Once it is loaded click on Detect. Now turn your device off by holding the power button until you see the shutdown gif. Once your device is shutdown plug it in to your pc. No turn your device back on by pressing and holding the power button. UMDL should detect your device and start loading the new ROM on to your device.

MS3 version:

You must have a registration number to get MS3 working. The 15 day trial period does not work.

thanks. now do you know if mr blazingwolf updated the calculator

I don't use the standard calculator. I use 1-Calc lite. It is in both ROMs. I need to make a better skin for it though that will fit the i910 screen.

Just want to say great ROM. I Love it. Lots of memory left and it responds quickly. I like the SBP menu option. I use it so your ROM was the best to use. Any new updates coming anytime soon?

Love the ROM. Thanks for doing one with MS3.

Wondering if you were going to bake one in w/ the 3.01 update. Or if there's a way that update can be applied when cooked in the ROM... If SPB will keep updating perhaps it's better to install later?

Also, WMWifiRouter (the old freely licensed version) would be a great include.

Thanks again for your work.

I put the latest beta on it and no problems

I wanted to bring this thread back up to the top because it's an awesome ROM and it was getting buried. Thank you Blazingwolf, I think a lot of people pass it over because of the "newness" of wm 6.5.
