Wonder how long till they hit the states... if they ever do... I think I'd like the Omnia Pro cause I like the built in keyboard (fat thumbs make it hard to type on touch screen ;) )

yeah the hardware keyboard is nice...however I don't know if the Pro is coming to the US. The Omnia 2 is, but I think I heard the pro isn't.

What about us US folks? Does anyone know when Omnia II is coming to Verizon? And will it be strictly CDMA, or CDMA+GSM like the Saga?

Does it really have a 800Mhz processor?

I read on some websites that it only has a 667Mhz one.

The Samsung website does not say.

Thanks.

Yes it does (800MHz), some of the pre-production models had 667MHz, that caused the confusion.

Bought it in Singapore on 18Jul when the shops opened. It's the 8gb version. Although the CPU is 800mhz, you have the option to run it slower and save batt life or speed it up but standby hours will reduce. Only installed 3 appz so far.. Resco explorer, TCPMP Phenom 3 and SPB Password. Either it may be a conflict or something else, but the interface hangs pretty often and a soft reset is required.
