omnia 2 - alarm auto power up not working

Something I just discovered today in the morning...I arrived late at work.

The alarm auto power up is not working in my omnia 2, so if you turn off the phone at night the alarm will not ring.

Anybody with the same problem or with a solution?

no windows mobile will ring the alarm in power off because the alarm software runs on the os and the switched off phone has no os running

Thanks for the clarification, but there is a function in the omnia II which says that explicitelly...this is so confusing.

yep this function should do so, i'll test it asap if it works with the autopowerup!

hmm it really seems this function is buggy, mine didn't switch on ether!

I found this in OmniaII manual regarding the Alarm auto power-up

The auto power-up feature sets the device to automatically turn on

and sound the alarm at the designated time if the device is turned

off. To use this feature, set the alarm to sound at least 3 minutes

later.
