Guest erichowe Posted July 30, 2009 Report Posted July 30, 2009 Hi I am unable to get my mobile to receive signal from my Sim card The phone cannot detect the network. Internet connectivity works fine, bluetooth etc all ok. Its a new phone less than two weeks old. Pls advise as I'm sure it must have something to do with the settings and its not the phone nor the sim card as the sim card can be used on another samsung with no problems. Tks
Guest alvinaloy Posted July 31, 2009 Report Posted July 31, 2009 Does the Omnia II work with another SIM card?
Guest erichowe Posted August 2, 2009 Report Posted August 2, 2009 Does the Omnia II work with another SIM card? Hi I trouble shot the following: 1. Used both roaming sim cards, Sin and the overseas country, but still cannot get any signal. 2. Did hard reset still same problem. 3. The phone can auto and manually receive the overseas telecom networks, and bands but the problem still persists. 4. Could it be the phone or my wrong settings. 5. If my luck sometimes I get a signal but very low, one bar at most. Appreciate any advise.

Guest furry Posted August 17, 2009 Report Posted August 17, 2009 You have to bring your phone to service center. I met the same problem, brought it to service center, was told it was a motherboard problem.
