sunlight visibility Omnia II vs Iphone

I just tested direct sunlight with a friend's Iphone 3G (more than 1 year old). I'm too disappointed to describe the experience.

Don't believe the reviews that say it is as visible as the Iphone...it is not true. It can't compete, period.

capacitive anti glare glass does help a lot! Omnia HD with an anti glare glass can be close to that of iphone but it only comes with anti scratch :) .

Ironically the iphone screen is supplied by either Sharp (currently) or (previously) LG or Samsung

can anyone else confirm this, maybe show video with both phones set brightness to max and stand under direct sunlight.
