No need for any disabling. Just use tmail.exe instead of the SMS-MMS program. tmail can be found in \Windows.

If you do that, you will open winmo messaging application, however when you open any message, it will still open using the Samsung editor/viewer. I cannot remember the registry values to remove that and enable threaded mode again

No, i dont need threaded mode. Just the original wm messages.
