I8000DXIG7EN ROm is NOT FULL! CSC file is absent!

CSC file is where language specific files are. Probably, if you flash ROM without CSC file, resources from old CSC will be used. It's OK if there were no changes in language specific files. If there were changes in G7 ROM for CSC, there will be mess and any kind of bugs are possible.

if you don't beleieve me, then unpack ROM and you will see that there is no even ENGLISH resources in PDA_I8000XXIG7_HW_40.MST file.

so, think before flash this incomplete ROM!

would be good if previa will upload missing CSC file if he has it.

We know this, CSC is not required if your using Eng language,

If you dont wanna falsh stick to your current rom :D

while uploading to rapidshare, create collector's account (it's totally free). Upload your files to collector's account and these files will have no 10 times limit :D

i don't have i8000 yet, but will buy as soon as it will available in Taiwan.

The problem is that Taiwan version will have only Tradistional Chinese and English languages and has no other languages for keyboard except CHT and ENG. I need other input languages. So, i will need to flash international ROM like G7EN. But since CSC file is absent, i won't able to flash it correctly.

I think that it is your fault and not a rom problem!!!

Try to install it to "My storage" instead of Main memory, this is the solution!

Thanks but you are just blaming me back without offering solution.

Well, partly my bad... i accidentally deleted 1 file from root and didnt know about it. Lucky i compare it with a backup image and replace the missing file.

The solution was to install it to "My Storage" instead of main memory!!!

So, is it working now?

Definitely NOPE! This is I8000 thread and this is for I8000 ROM not for I910. Both is different.

Yes they are all on mircoSDHC and they have to be in the root not in any sub-folder... also remember to copy the Garmin XT.exe into your mircoSDHC root. That was how I did it and it is working like a charm... hope this helps :D

sorg is here..i cannot imagine.. :D we shd be preapared for lots and lots of goodies for our omnia2..Sorg, till u get a device, pls let know what informations, files u need.I hope we get all good things for omnia2 in due times to come :angry:

It's ok now, i accidentally deleted Garmin XT.exe from root of card and didnt realize it until i checked with backup.

first flash I8000HZHIG4 to I8000HZHIG4 (i've lost "my storage"! After trying manilla 3D?) success.

Upgrade from I8000HZHIG4 to I8000DXIG7 successfull, but i subscribe sorg refflexion about missing CSC firmware.
