Guest luiscs17 Posted August 16, 2009 Report Posted August 16, 2009 hi i have omnia II living in Puerto Rico using edge band sometimes using 3g band at 1900mhz looking on the net i found these code from omnia I and i use it for my omnia II: *#197328640# i enter to test gsm menu then i chose [9] common , [3] rf scanning in the setting [1] i chose display band [4], could some body explain why there are so many band to display?? like w2100, w1900, w1800, w1700_2100, w850, w800, w900, w1700, egsm900, pgsm900, pcs1900, dcs1800, gsm850 i tried to scan at w850 but there's nothing in the display when finish the scanning, thats the band we are using in puerto rico for 3g, it's could be another code for unlock those band???, but i dont know if there's exist any phone with too many band capabilities.

The ship might be able to support such frequencies but there are no antennas inside the device to actually operate on such frequencies.
