Guest sorg Posted August 30, 2009 Report Posted August 30, 2009 (edited) is there any i8000 with pinyin input? If so, can anybody make dump of such ROM? I need files required for pinyin support (from \Windows dir). Probably files are called: effy.xt9.pinyin.ime.dll effy.xt9.pinyin.sip.dll effy.xt9.pinyin.sip.dll.0404.mui or effy.xt9.pinyin.sip.dll.0804.mui so, if dumping of ROM is impossible, then at least these files should be enough. Guest sorg Posted August 31, 2009 Report Posted August 31, 2009 dilamma, that is Zhouyin (bopomofo). it uses special chinese phonetic symbols. Pinyin is a little different. It uses latin (ABCD) symbols to compose chinese words. Pinyin mostly used in simplified chinese ROMs, while traditional chinese ROMs have Zhouyin. I believe singapore G6 version of ROM should have pinyin method. Unfortunately this version is not available for download.
