Updating Camera Firmware!!!

Has anyone come across this app - in the Windows directory I came across a program called FirmwareUpdate, I selected the option to update and it updated the camera software!!!

I haven't noticed any improvements when taking pictures but noticed the flash comes on when recording videos in low light, I know this wasn't the case before so it's great in my view.

Hi guys , when up date camera firmware do I need to connect to GPRS or wifi?

I follow the code and it displays button to up grade when I push but

there is nothing happen. So I wonder whether I have to connect to GPRS or wifi or not.

no. not need for GPRS connection. just wait a few minutes. when it finished, the display will show cam update ended

no upgrade for me too

however I think the whole procedure is suspicious, updating firmware without downloading a new file at all? so that should mean the firmware is already on the phone but for some reason samsung decided not to implement it.

Always been like that for samsung.

but strage if i use the code it says no update ,but if i uses the firmware update program and press 2 it will update the firmware anyway.

how do you do for press 2 and stay in Firmware update program because in this option ask you for a code: "1234", if I put "2" tell me ERROR !!!!

yeah same, i occasionally get a messaging saying when date camera firmware when i launch the camera sometimes.
