Guest Rothariger Posted September 4, 2009 Report Posted September 4, 2009 Hello, i have a Xperia X1 and the radio is very weak, a work mate have a omnia i900 and the radio is very good, he can listen to some stations that i cant. can someone confirm that the i8000 radio works like i900 or better? thanks!!!
Guest Andy Q Posted September 4, 2009 Report Posted September 4, 2009 IN my own experience, NO. Was able to listen to one radio station with clarity on my previously owned Omnia but wasn't able to even get a decent signal on the Omnia II on the very same location.

Guest mattb777 Posted September 5, 2009 Report Posted September 5, 2009 i wouldnt turn the omnia ii away just yet.. it's just been released and the firmware is nowhere near where the original omnia's is currently. if you can wait a month or two the radio reception will definitly be addressed (at least i think so..)

Guest saznpins Posted September 8, 2009 Report Posted September 8, 2009 The radio reception seems to be decent on the O2... I think my O1 was indeed better but the O2 is fine. I am able to get all my favorite stations on the O2 but sometimes I need to move the cord around a little to improve reception and I didn't have to do that with the O1. Hoping future firmware updates will fix it as well :)
