FIX: Peep on Hero with Vodafone

I've just bought an unlocked Hero and set it up on Voda contract today.... can send twitter updates but cannot pull any down in Peep... also can connect to facebook but it doesn't seem to be syncing pictures at all?

Just get used to not using peep on vodaphone unless you root your phone.

I suggest either swift app or seesmic free full twitter clients that function perfectly over an non rooted hero on voda network.

Furthermore, if you want to stop peep from ever loading on a stock hero download startup auditor from the marketplace and set peep to never load on startup, and never load while phone is operational.

Peep was great just because of the whole sense UI experience when I first got the phone, but after a couple months now swift app is everything I need.

(Also, give twidgit lite a try if you just want basic twitter features in a tidy widget)
