Guest sinancetinkaya Posted May 5, 2010 Report Posted May 5, 2010 My reasons are, 1. Battery life 2. Amoled screen 3. Weight
Guest Nablet Posted May 6, 2010 Report Posted May 6, 2010 As I see it there're two problems with the O2. 1. OpenGl isn't fully supported and buggy 2. RAM 3. ROM update wipes my storage I am very pleased with my O2 and have no reason to dislike it. I don't game on it often but I browse the net a lot and it does that very well. I love Opera Mobile and I use it a lot. My only real gripe with the phone is the wiping of the on board storage when a new ROM is installed, I hate that. The RAM isn't a problem for me, as it it's more than enough. After all I never run enough programmes on it to run out of memory and the record amount I have ran on it is 8. And in Opera Mobile I've ran 10 windows and still no problem, apart from super slow internet. I, pesonally, have no problem with the phone. It does everything I want it to do, at a lot less cost than the iPhone everyone keeps going on about. The iPhone is a touch screan phone, it's not a smart phone. The iPhone is tied to iTunes and everything has to be bought, unless you're going to wage an endless war with Apple by jailbreaking the phone, only to have them lock it whenever you connect it to iTunes. Get over the iPhone, it's a s*** phone and you're paying for that logo on the back because when the battery dies who's laughing? The fools who bought the iPhone or the people who have a real phone? iPhone buyers are fools, they're people who want to belong to the cult that's Apple, compare all you want the O2 is superiour by far.
Guest jermx Posted May 13, 2010 Report Posted May 13, 2010 How about looking at why your O2 is good instead of looking at why it is bad ?
Guest mark777 Posted May 14, 2010 Report Posted May 14, 2010 Reasons I bought O2: 1. Cheaper than the rest in its group range. I got it in China for RMB 2500 @USD$ 366 2. Good camera, 5MP 3. Easy access to software, its a windows machine. 4. Has GPS that works in China. Its hard to get accurate GPS programs for China in English. Refer to point 3. 5. Great people here that cook roms thats better than the ones it came with, I got mine in Chinese but I changed it into English. 6. Can double up as an mp3 player (not very good sounds quality even after using SRS surround). Can play and records amazing video's! 7. Can type in Chinese. Refer to point 3. 8. Works a dictionary for me. 9. Lastly, I dont like what happens to people that work with Apple. 62 Chinese workers poisoned by chemical while producing iPhone 4G touch screen http://china.globaltimes.cn/society/2010-05/530615.html Concerns as sixth Foxconn worker commits suicide. Guest Rapid81 Posted May 14, 2010 Report Posted May 14, 2010 No auto rotate screen in sms or others applications The SMS, the Opera, the IE, the Start Menu, the Email, etc are all autorotating for me. I don't know what are talking about. :) I did not installed any 3rd party apps to work. And especially, the SMS always worked with all kind of ROMs.
