Hey guys just got my phone today and I must admit I am a little dissapointed with it.

Overall it is slow even with the touchwiz s*** off and the CPU on max.

The Internet is rubbish, I mean it is so sloooooooooooow. Opera is crap and I wouldn't even bother with IE.

I try to load YouTube videos and it opens up in some rubbish player with substandard quality!

I would like to know if there are any firmware updates available and if so where? I bought this model from overseas so it could be old firmware.

My current firmware is

PDA 18000XXIH3

CSC 18000XSOIH1

PHONE 18000DXIH2

Btw I am typing this with my iPod which I hoped I wouldn't have to after buying my omnia :)

Try disabling WidgetPlus too (if you didn't already)

Try Opera 9.7 beta (if you still using the old one)

Download the YouTube viewer for Mobile phones from YouTube website.

On this same forum you can find newer firmwares and guide how to flash them.
