Lol that was actually my fist Mobile phone....thanks to my Mom finding it at a hotel she was working at...

It had audio recording too!! max 13 seconds :)

Anyways jokes aside, the last working Phone Part is H2, every new rom after that cannot do the registry tweak....sad...

I'm still on Phone G6 but the registry tweak isn't working anyway. Guess it depends on the PDA?

Someone says the following reg hack may work:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\ControlPanel\PhoneNetSelMode\Timeout

Change it from 3000 to 0, and then reboot.

didnt work for me either...

arhh how frustrating, i wish i could remember which 6.5 rom is was that fixed this...

i dont know if its the phone part or a registry setting, but either way im getting sick of my friends hanging up on the 3rd-4th ring before it even shows on my phone!!

yes i can tell em to stay on the phone so i can answer, but since they are all iphone users, they will just bag out my WM phone!

I think it has something to do with the lock screen. Try to see if you have the delay without the screen locked. I think not.

So we have to find a tweek for the delay that is caused by de screen lock responsiveness. I have the same effect with the G-Allarm. It takes couple of seconds untill the screen is unlocked and then the alarm rings.

If somebody finds anything....pls let us know.

Good luck

In my phone the delay is caused by disabling the Samsung Dialer. If I use any other 3rd party or the WinMo dialer, I have the delay. If I use the Samsung dialer, I have no delay at all.

How true. That's why I used the 6.1 lockscreen which is way better.

I recall someone said that vlert (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=437279) partially helps by vibrating the phone before ringing. Not ideal but worth trying.

What WM version? I am using the SAMSUNG Dialer on WM6.5 and I still have the delay. But no delay if I turn off the screen lock.

If you are using WinMo 6.1 you may want to try this. It's working on mine.

Change duration of ringtone/vibrate/LED flash characteristics"

HKCU\ControlPanel\Sounds\RingTone0\Script = "v1w1v1w1v1"

E.g. vibrate 1 second (v1), wait 1 second (w1) sequence

Looping Ringtones Delay

Ring tone has a standard 3 seconds delay before repeating. You can set the delay from 0 second to how many second that you want.

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\ControlPanel\Sounds\RingTone0

Change 'Script' from 'av0pw3r' to 'av0pr' and you'll get 0 sec delay.

OR change it to

av0pw1r = wait for 1 sec

av0pw2r = wait for 2 sec

and so on...

Plus heres the code

a - stands for display

r - repeat/replay the script again

c - sets the volume C50, c150, c100

f - means flash .. f1 flash for 1 second and f0 stands for flash continuously

p -means play ringtone

v- vibrate then incorporate with number to state how many seconds it will vibrate example. v3 vibrate for 3seconds or v - for continous

w - stands for wait or pause then specify how many seconds like w3(wait for 3 seconds)

Heres the example

Flash - af1w60f0

Ring - apw3r

Ring Once - ap

Increasing Ring - c50apw3c150r

Vibrate Then Ring - v3w3apw3r

Vibrate - av3w3r

Short Vibrate - av1w3r

Vibrate Long Then Ring - v3w3v3w3apw3r

Vibrate And Ring - av0pw3r

Increasing Ring And Vibrate - c50apv3w3c150r

Fast Vibrate And Flash - af1v1w1f0r

Vibrate and Ring Continously without pausing - av0pr

no...not yet.

Hi Guys,

The script that I used was c300apw0r

Set volume to 300, show display, play ring tone, wait 0 seconds and repeat.

As stated in the original post it is working on my WinMo 6.1.

The version settings from my phone are as follow -

PDA: i8000DTII4

CSC: i8000xsaii2

phone: i8000xxii5

Sorry if it doesn't work on your handset but it is working fine on mine.
