Guest emperorben
Let me start the ball rolling: WMLongLife (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=478519) Note of caution: if uninstalled, the band maybe fixed at the point of uninstallation! Description- WMLongLife is an automatic 2G/3G band-switching solution. It will keep your device in 2G when you do not need to use 3G, and will switch to 3G automatically when you do need it. For most users, having your device in 2G uses much less battery, and thus your phone lasts longer on a single charge. 2G also usually generates less radiation than 3G, so it will likely be better for your gonads (if you have them) as well (see this thread for a discussion about that) - think of your hypothetical future children! Tested it on my WM6.5 Omnia. Really does make a diff for my battery life. I personally find the following settings required to maintain stability: Switch to 3G when the screen turns on- UNCHECKED Show Band switch notification- UNCHECKED Vibrate notifications- UNCHECKED Showcase- Finger Friendly Task Switcher (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=530564) Loads alot faster than the Samsung task switcher. And comes with memory usage % and more options. Evernote (www.evernote.com) Forget OneNote or the Windows Mobile Notes. This is the definitive note taking software. It can also utilise Omnia 2 camera for snapshot notes. Edited October 9, 2009 by emperorben
