Guest JingleManSweep Posted February 3, 2010 Report Posted February 3, 2010 I looked on the wiki page for the pulse and there is a fix for it. I tried it myself and it worked fine http://wiki.modaco.com/index.php/Huawei_U8220#Known_Issues unfortunately the app is not free but im sure it can be found by some other means Agreed. I'd almost given up hope using my Pulse as an MP3 player, so had started carrying around my Sansa E260 again. However, I noticed the wiki had been updated with a workaround. You need to download the "Autostarts" application, it costs 0.69 EUR, and requires a rooted phone. It basically allows you to reassign (or disable) all the different input events. The one you need for this fix is to disable the "Media Button Press" event. I'm assuming the "Media Button" is somehow wired into those special headsets/earphones, and gets accidentally activated when the cable is wobbled or connected.
Guest swalkner Posted February 21, 2010 Report Posted February 21, 2010 hey there, does anyone of you know how I can get this "Autostarts" app? I only see "free" apps in my market... So I cannot buy it - allthough I would if I had the chance to... thx
