Backlight does not turn on on tap

Hello,

"Enable to turn on backlight when a button is pressed or the screen is tapped" option is ON, but the backlight does not turn on unless I press the lock button on the right of the phone. No other buttons or screen tapping does not bring the screen on.

I also have SBP 3.5 installed and same option is also checked there as well.

I also have S2U2 v.210 installed and all power options in that are OFF.

How do I turn on the screen by tapping? Any help?

I think you're mixing 2 things now, the backlight off and the stand-by mode.

When the backlight goes off, you can still see your screen image, it's only low light (amoled is still visible without additional backlight). However when you're screen is off the device is in stand by. You can configure it to wake with any button or with the lock button. Enabeling by tapping doesn't work anymore by then. If you want this you can configure to never turn the display off. offcourse this wil result in a massive battery drain.
