WM 6.5 (secany's and official) Memory Problems

After some tests

I think that the lock screen of default wm6.5 would drain the RAM eventually from 80 to 50mb which I need to do softreset to recover it (with IK5 TF3D ROM)

try to disable the lock screen and you will have a relatively stable RAM size with about 66~76mb upon continuous usage with multitasking.

but one significant change from 6.1 to 6.5 is the increase of battery drain. the battery drops from 90% to 80% in 5 hours standby time for 6.5 whereas only ~3% was used for the same period of standby with 6.1...

i never used the WM 6.5 lock screen (i'm using S2U2) but still I find my RAM going down anyway.

just now, after some hours of doing pretty much nothing other than playing a bit with SPB mobile shell rearranging some screens (without adding anything actually), my free RAM went down to 45mb. Now after soft reset it's back to 55mb.

maybe spb mobile shell is not very ram friendly too?

SPB is definitely not ram friendly. I wonder wat is the actual root cause. I dont hear other ppl complaining about spb on other wm devices,

Just to know and had disabled the dialer. The have extra 10mb to 83mb on WM6.1. Waiting the good new to disable the Samsung locked screen.

Free Storage Memory = 88.22MB

Free Program Memory = 62.81MB

Disabled the Samsung dialer skin saved some MB of RAM.

Nevertheless I still prefer Samsung dialer skin for better thumb friendliness.
