same here, can't preview videos... im using v28232-Normal <_<

Same problem. Running 28232 M2D build

Cannot replay videos recorded previously with the camera or videos just recorded. Either get an error that says "Cannot play file format" on a blank screen or if there is an immage, when play is pressed it closes and goes back to M2D

P.S. After trying the MMS.dll / HTMLNOTE.dll reg edit and soft reseting again it worked this time. Wierd

Settings/Connections/Operator Settings.

choose any other Operators, click OK. wait to load then back again to the same page and set ur actual OPERATOR.

this is well known by everyone flashing roms but its always good to refresh it for new guys. Just keep that on your flashing notes for the future <_<

Hey there! I'm new around here so please...I need some help.I can't play videos at all. I'm on 23544 M2D. Windows media gives an error"Cannot play items in the playlist...." and when I get to Menu>Error Details it gives" Cannot play this file" Is it only me or it had happened to someone before.

That was the fix for the SMS Reply problem in the 28... builds. Steff says it has been fixed in this new build so you shouldn't have to do it. As for the video part im sure i saw the same problem and a fix in P_Dhee's rom page but i realy cant be bothered to wade through 80 pages to find it again. Its annoying but it's not stopping my phone working. I can live with it till i flash my phone again in a week or so

unfortunately same is thru with the 283xx build... I installed third party software to play my videos, TCPMP...

hope bugs will be fixed on the coming build... Good Luck Steff!

Many Thanks to you!

It's not a bug, video and audio files are not associated with any programs. I'll say it again (I see you didn't read my previous posts) that you have to install a video/audio player and associate the appropriate file types. <_<

is there anyway to associate the video files recorded by the camera with the player that is built into it? Other cookers roms work like the original 6.1 stock rom in that when you have recorded a video file you can play it back straight away.

Your roms are far more stable than anyone elses that i have tried and feel like a complete and proper 6.5 omnia rom. P-Dhee has some good roms but bits like the audio tab are buggy. If this video part could be fixed it would litteraly be perfect

Thank you for the 21893 Normal, but could you lay out the firmware on the Russian or simply Russian mui for this release.

been using your ROM for weeks now and im loving it...

I kinda agree with woody2k,, hope there is a way for this.. im fun of taking videos and it is inconvenient for previewing using third party apps, because you have to manually browse the video on its stored location..

Thanks so much Steff

Don't quite understand what you guys are saying: you can't preview the movie after it's taken, in the camera menu, or after exiting the camera, with a certain player? 'cause in both cases it's working for me.

And... about that scrolling sound, I think the responsible file is MenuPop.wav, you'll find it in Windows, you just take a blank wav file, rename it to MenuPop.wav and overwrite the original. Hope it's all good. <_<

Now working on some new roms.

Hi Steff,

Any expectations when these new builds will see the light ?

Later today, now cooking and testing. <_< they might not all see the daylight, only ones that I consider that they are worth releasing. :(

unfortunately doesn't work for me..

in my case, just after I ended my recording, in the camera menu, it will display a big "Play" button on the center and when you tap that "Play" button it goes to the Home screen instead of playing the video. So what im doing is that, I open my third party video player (ex. TCPMP) and browse the file manually just to play it.

Now working on some new roms. <_<

Great! excited to see what comes next!

Many Thanks! Good Luck!
