Thanks for an amazing ROM, for me its almost perfect, my only observation so far is:

Unable to load phone numbers from Phone book to SMS

Same issue here. Cannot select recipient from phone book in SMS screen.

Great ROM otherwise. I flashed L2 earlier - runs very sluggish. So I came back to this one.

i'm very interested in that too. Because i have problems with my car kit and voice command ( refer : http://www.modaco.com/index.php?s=&sho...t&p=1124772 ) whereas it works without doing anything special with a motorola h550 earpiece.

That is not a bug!!

Just find Camera.exe in \Windows, copy it then go \Windows\Start Menu\Programs and waste it as shortcut there.

If i am not mistaken, this KC's latest rom actually disabled the Samsung dialer, you can check the settings if you have a registry editing program in your device.

*Open any registry editor, go to HKLM\Security\Phone\Skin

*Check if Enabled = 0

If yes means you are using WinMo default SMS interface; video call and MMS are disable.

If no means you are using Samsung SMS interface; video call and MMS are enable.

This is because I have deleted Samsung Phonebook but SMS still calls for it. To use WM SMS and call normal contacts, you have to edit the registry:

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Inbox\MsgTypes\IPM\SMStext]

"DLL"="htmlnote.dll" (from :mms.dll)

And reset your phone after edit.

I'll make an updated ROM soon. ;)

Voice speed dial from bluetooth headset doesn't work properly with the original i8000 WM 6.1 ROM (same as i900) but Samsung has done a good job for WM 6.5 ROM so I can add VSD into the ROM and works fully as expected.

No, I just disable it but didn't remove it from the ROM. You can still enable it to make video call and MMS.

Khuanchai, I am very glad to see you "back in busyness". I've tested this I8000 ROM of yours, and the first thing that i've notest - it is very fast, like your I900 ROMs were. So, I am looking forward to your ultralite ROMs and hope you wil not make us wait too long!

Have you tried editing the registry yet? You will be able to use SMS and contacts. For me, Samsung SMS and Phonebook use too many unnecessary steps. In fact, I plan to remove all of them including MMS from the future ROM. Any idea?

CAB's will come soon after I have finished the updated ROM.

Update: New ROM coming soon.

- More programs removed: Samsung SMS-MMS

- Solve SMS problem on adding contacts

I would like to experience this new ROM as well.

One question Khuanchai: Do you suffer about some memory leak problem in your ROM like some others who are using K5 or L2 ROMs?
