Why do you think this driver is better than, for exmaple, GPSGate?

Driver do the same thing as GPSGate, just retranslate GPS hardware data to other COM port.

I'm suppose, if driver would work on device, GPSGate would work too and vice versa.

GPSGate work pretty good for me, one thing i don't like is little lag (about 0,5 second) in incoming GPS data.

If driver from xda-developers doesn't have such lag, obviously, its better.
