Default Keyboard reverting back to Swype?

I've set my default keyboard, under "input", to Samsung Keypad but after every soft reset it reverts back to Swype.

Am I missing something obvious here?

Can you please share how you fix this?

I want to do the reverse, set swype as the default keyboard, so I don't have to change it every time my phone starts
