""Don't forget the Bluetooth streaming of music to the dock.""

I dont really see the benefit? They connectt he phone via the pins so it can charge, ok got that... but to get it to play music it has to connect via Bluetooth to the base unit its already docked to in oder to transmit from the phone to the dock and then out via the 3.5mm cable to your music player...

What a pollava - if they'd just stuck to using the micro USB connector at the base of the charging slot then music, charge and everything else would happen via that one connector... No need to Bluetooth

Another thought, if the HTC bravo is due out so soon, then we can use those very same accessories as from what I can see they case around the bottom is identical to that of the Nexus..

Maybe its best to wait, let the market get flooded with spares and voila... £20 max! :(

Actually the Dock charge the N1 via some sort of induction , no pin, and the audio gets transfer via Bluetooth, so everything is totally wireless between the N1 and the Dock. You will still have to place the phone onto the Dock, this is a limitation of induction power transfer. But it's damn cool.. well worth the $49/= to get it. For that price, you also get the audio cable and power adapter . Look at the picture of the Dock again and you see what I mean.. it's totally smooth, no charging pins at all.

No no, the dock does have three pins on it, they're spring loaded and connect to pads on the base of the dock so I suspect the dock charges from that.

Oh damn.. you are right !! :-D My bad...I wasn't looking close enough..

Does that means that's how the audio gets across as well ?

Same one - just cheaper on dealxtreme - and has free international delivery too :( £12 all in...

That's NOT the same dock. I wouldn't not trust a £400+ device with anything from Deal Extreme, one of their USB hubs destroyed my motherboard

How to use Nexus Dock with another BT device?

I cannot pair it with my notebook - the Dock is not in visible bluetooth state!
