I copied the copied the .exe over the one in /windows on my VZWi920 and it works great. Thank You , Thank You.

it is nice to copy/cut and paste files to comp w/o having to rename. :P

I also noticed today that the smart reader has changed to the better. I have the ability to OCR full page docs and to translate btw english and spanish and vice versa.

Maybe it was always like this, IDK if I have ever used smart reader until today on this Omnia (maybe I am thinking back to orig omnia) but last time i used this app I thought could just scan/ process biz cards.

either way. very happy.

oh, and the camera is updated (for me). I can add gps info to pics. very awesome.

Edit3:Maybe found a little bug.As the new camera.exe creates a new folder named i8000CAM, we can't see the photos we shots in camera program's "Play"...

yeah same here, with enabled preview i can navigate trough the pictures i've just taken at the moment, but after restarting the camera they are gone :P

maybe the camera.exe executes another exe (which needs to be patched then to the new I8000CAM Folder) to preview the pictures? :huh:

umm.. I have a US vzw i920 factory 6.5, no firmware update.

I did not not do anything other than overwrite the /windows camera.exe and except for the first time I loaded the camera i can view all the pictures upon selecting preview (play button). The camera does save and create a new "i8000" folder in the DCIM folder and saves the images there but that is not a problem. I did not load/change the above .mui and the only thing I changed was to save to storage card.

I like the GPS location feature too.
