Lance,

Where are the links for JC2?

i have no idea, but i think jebise is refering to this app which can check new version from samsung.

http://www.modaco.com/content/i8000-omnia-...are-downloader/

but so far, only the ZUJC1 has those new stuff, not even the euro JC1.

we have to wait and see, since secany hasnt been around for a while, i bet a lot different versions r gonna coming out by that app.

GC JC1 Lite Update Part 1

GC JC1 Lite Update Part 2

Hi Gary,

I've just flashed to your 18/03 JC1 Lite rom.

What a great rom it is. Lots of storage & program memory.

Found you removed Messenger and YouTube too, which I used most.

But nvm, I could easily installed them from cab.

Found another thing, you had included the XT9 "Samsung MLKeypad" input that I've packed. Did you?

No problem Gary.

Anyway, I thank you for your great efforts into making a more and more stable JC1 Lite rom.

Now I could use it to flash my friends & colleagues's Omnia2 with no worried of they will complain to me at all.

:)

A big thumbs up for this rom...plenty of memory and phone storage and it runs sweet.

Personally I think it's a good idea to keep it as 'vanilla' as possible so that those that use Pointsense or those that use SPB Mobile Shell (such as myself) have the choice of what to install.

Think I'm going to be using this Ultralite rom for a long time...well, at least until Mr Crutcher brings out his next masterpiece :)

Hi got another question.. I wish to enable back samsung default sms appication how do i do that?

I have tried

1) HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Inbox\MsgTypes\IPM\Note\DLL

change the value from htmlnote.dll to emform.dll (in current firmware IJ6 this is already set)

2) HKCU\Sofware\Microsoft\Inbox\MsgTypes\IPM\SMStext\DLL

change the value from htmlnote.dll to mms.dll

HKLM/Software/Microsoft/Shell/Rai/:MSINBOX

change to sms-mms.exe

but i still get tmail.exe poping up when i click on back when reading a message...

also..

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Samsung\MMS\setting and change the value from 1 to 0 of

SMSForegegroundSend - disable sms/mms successful send notification

SMSDeliveryReport - disable delivery notification

this seem not work.. any help? thanks!!

Samsung MMS/SMS was not removed nor disabled.

Here is a cab which should help, though.

I'm just about to flash the ultralight 18 Mars version, great that keyboards was left in as I need Swedish åäö.

Right now I have b1 b1 b1 witch BTW was the worst ever.

If I flash with only the nbo will that also include the new boot and phone or do I have to chose them separately.

Thank you Gary for chairing your roms and hard work

you have to flash them separately. In octans you can do it at the same time but flash just PDA will not effect anything else.

Lancez, I have read the previous posts. You need to read mine, I said winrar ;p

Really have no idea what's wrong, I'm using winrar 3.93 and it doesn't help. Seems like the files are corrupted to me.

please read previous page about this.

Thank you for the help.

So will this work with octans 2.14

EBoot : eboot_i8000nxxjc1_hw_40.eb0

PDA : gc_jc1_lite.nb0

Phone : phone i8000xxjb2.bin

Is that all or do I need MultiCSC also or anything else?
