Guest Stockholm Posted March 20, 2010 Report Share Posted March 20, 2010 So I did this starting with b1 b1 b1 and using octans 2.14 EBoot : eboot_i8000nxxjc1_hw_40.eb0 PDA : gc_jc1_lite.nb0 Phone : phone i8000xxjb2.bin All good so far, looking great and 87 free ram, nice boot screen and all. After testing to change language to Swedish in the hope to get the right keyboard it all came back to b1 b1 b2 ... Then I did a *2767*3855# reset still on b1 b1 b2. I did read in another literom tread that you should check "erase CSC" (I did not check any box) I suspect that I need to check that box to get rid of some old stuff. before flashing again I like to ask if it is so and if I need to check any other boxes. I have only flashed with Secany's rom before so there might be some obvious steps I am missing when flashing a custom rom One more thing, is there still a Swedish keyboard to look for? I did install the full Italian c1 then just flashed 18 Mars PDA. changed keyboard to Swedish and all is working just fine. I did try to reset and returned back as it should. This looks great. Thank you Gary nice job. Now I just need to figure out how and if I can change date to day-month-year mode after I reinstalled my stuff. I hope I did it correct despite the fact that I only have PDA C1 And PHONE B2 CSC is empty not like Gary's screenshot that had the CSC as B3, I hope that was a "typo". What Eboot you used?? The reason I suggest the JB3 CSC is that the xT9 ML keyboard does not seem to work with the new JC2 CSC. I think if you are using JB1 CSC it should work. I'd flashed the last time with C1-C1-C1- and Phone JB2 and the xT9 I checked and works fine with English... I use SPB's keyb anyway with extra Greek...
