Outgoing and incoming display of SMS is slow? Is that what he is saying?

That doesn't really seem to be an issue for me with the beta ROM.

We need the 2.2 FroYo ported with the leaked rom.

* Support for installing applications to the expandable memory

* Integrated Adobe Flash 10.1 support

* Speed improvements courtesy of the JIT implementation

* Improved application launcher with "quick links" to phone and browser

* USB tethering and WiFi hotspot functionality

* Support for file upload field in the Browser application

* More system applications can be updated via the Market, similar to Maps in 2.0/2.1

* Smaller ROM sizes due to the above so can fit on mare limited devices (i.e., G1)

* Updated Market with "batch" updates and automatic updates

* Much more optimised system to reduce rom size and increase speed

If 2.2 is smaller than 2.1 then i'd have thought the sensible thing would be to just go with 2.2 anyway if they're having problems fitting 2.1 on

For me neither...

I think he/she might be reffering to smses not being recieved, and yes, that has happened to me a few times with this rom...

The thing is, it's hard to know if it happens, since you don't even get the smses. So if you've noticed a decrease in people answering and sending you smses, it might not just be that they dislike you

Crikey, I've definitely not had that with the 2.1 beta.

Yes it is works before... but now it isn't. I fear it is only a fake announcement and the moderators delete it...

Or they didn't like BigBear's suggestion for them to release the newer rom that's he's been testing which he said works fine.

Thats why their forum crashed once more, not allowing us to view that topic anymore...

Btw, today i asked Huawei Europe for some more info on the release of 2.0/2.1 seeing as their last correspondence to me was in January (which said 2.0/2.1 may be released before April) and this is the illuminating information i received:

"Hi

At this moment in time that's all the information we have.

Best Regards"
