Route66 GPS for Samsung Omnia 2 - I8000

Anybody here tried this?? I found it accidentally and Installed in main memory as suggested. Its WORKING FANTASTIC...see the screen shot!! :(

P.S I have a free data bundle and no matter how much i download make sure you have something like that. Otherwise you will loose credit fast (I learnt from my friend)

How to Download maps??

1. make sure you Omnia is connected to the internet (after installing the route 66, go to)

2. route 66 main menu

3. click on extras

4. scroll down and click on update it will download and update

5 exit and go to extras again

6. now click on MAPs, you will find that your map seen as unlocked.

Samsung gives free with omnia 2 in Turkey. But I prefer Igo, much better

Igo 8.3.4x much better! ive finally got mine running 100% even with (TMC thanks to a member on this forums).. forgot his name..anyways

hi is it possible you can give a detailed guide as to how you got Igo working on your omnia 2.

I know there is a link to gpsunderground, but since you got your working it would be simpler for most of us if you can guid us through how you did it. I checked gpsundeground and i couldn't find anything directly relating to omnia 2.

So a quide from you or a direct link will be helpful

doesn't work for me ... there is no update button ??? <_< just get a question to input a # or connect to a server for sync ... then - there is no license for you ..

there are also no maps in .. maps :mellow:

Hi, did anyone managed to download the navigation feature for drive and walk? It was locked for me, without this, this piece of software seems useless to me as it could not make routings.
