Hello, my omnia 2 is brick, it will not start or do anything. Anyway, I was about to flash it with 2.14 with the Rom Octans JB3 and after a few seconds I have since had the wrong charged Eboot and mobile screen has started to green: (. I've disconnected and no longer answered the phone. I flashed the phone several times and never had given me problems. Any solution?: (

Sorry for english I use google traductor <_<

this is precisely the reason why I only use Octan Mini, I prefer safe flashing. It's like when I am playing Street fighter, I always think it's better to have infinite resurrection than just 2 lives

After trying everything possible, now call the service technician to see what solution you suggest, thank you very much for your help.

That sucks - others may pay attention to the error that was made - make sure you have good source files (verify size etc.)

As for os, i have used win 7 x86 and 64 - just follow the directions posted in the forum - and you should be ok.

Happy flashing!

\sorry not much help on the topic at hand, but i do want to know what tools to use to verify the eboot file? is there a hash check or something?

I always check the downloaded files and these were correct obviously as they uncompressed. So yeh always remember to check the files (source files) after they are uncompressed. I had flashed the eboot 3 times before with no problems and hadn't changed any hardware or software.

I will check the uncompressed file sizes from now on. Not sure if its possible to check these files any deeper like hash checks.
