I originally intended to make this Lite ROM for my own use.

some suggestions:

. Titanium instead of Splugins for CHome (tho NewForce's Kstan Titanium cab works to switch it over and preserves all samsung plugins)

. a taskbar theme to replace the default 6.5.x icons

. change the context menu's to ones that we dont have to scroll as much (WM6.5 like)

To restore the Samsung lock screen:

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\SAMSUNG\LockScreen]

"Lock"=dword:00000000 => "Lock"=dword:00000001

Set lock to 1

I do not know why you are getting a keyboard.

Hey quizesilver, I have the same issue as you. My personal solution (as per post #241) is-

I have to choose the operator "O2 IRL" and then manually edit the 3G settings. Most of the other network operator auto-configurations will not work as they are "pre-configured" and does not allow users to manually edit the settings.

i tried to look for O2 IRL but unable to find that also.

suggest u look at your GPRS authentication...

it is blank.

anyway... i tried a few I8000H

rom, meaning the taiwan & hk base rom also all i cant go up to the internet. the GPRS is not there.

it is stock rom not cooked.

i then tried with italy rom it is able to work.

Sorry, I was referring to the old style lockscreen where a number keypad covers the entire screen which is what I'm currently seeing. How do I get back the new styled 6.5 slide to unlock lock screen?

Never seen that screen.

The info I posted for you is for the Samsung lock screen which I disabled when

I made the rom. That's the lock screen with the slider to unlock.

You have to use a registry editor to change the value.

Resco Explorer has a registry editor or regedit_mrln_arm.

Here is regedit_mrln_arm:

I could only get the nbo file here. I tried to download all the 3 parts and even the ultralite 2 parts all of them extract only the nbo file

Where can i download the CSC, PDA and eboot etc

If you plan on using the XT9 keyboard with a language other than English, stay with JB3 CSC.

If you already have JB1 eBoot installed, you can stay with it.

The file I posted is only the PDA.

The lock screen that I disabled is the only one that has been in the Omnia to my knowledge.

It is the stock lock screen.

Maybe post a pic of your problem.

yes, I can but...some things are not in there as I manually went through the folders

trying to clean up some things.

If you still want the log files, I can post them.
