yes, I can but...some things are not in there as I manually went through the folders

trying to clean up some things.

If you still want the log files, I can post them.

Well,I'm a newbie for cooking a rom and just want to look at your log to study something. :)

So it's very kind of you for sharing it.

Millions of thx. ;)

You should have 2 files: .z01 and .zip.

Using winzip or winrar, double-click on the .zip.

Should then be able to extract.

This is a Chinese ROM, so I do not think so.

hi Gary,

tq for the fantastic ROM. i love the speed. I think the Samsung Messaging is missing or mis linked with MS Text. Is there a way to re-map "Text" to point Samsung Messaging? because im so used to with Samsung Messaging. tq

Hi Gary,

Amazing Rom!!! Congratulation once again!

Everything works smoothly.

I like C2 colors too.

The only thing that it does not work it's lock screen although I have applied the registry setting still old style lock screen.

Maybe it's LS_LockScene_480x800.cpr is corrupted although I used couple of them.

If anyone has a fix please let me know.

And the minor issue of Chinese characters (now squares any more) on send folders of SMS still exists. But that not really important.

(Just to mention that I flashed CSC B3 and language English.)

Does anyone has available JB2 Phone? Thanks.

Thank you very much.

Take care.

Hi Gary,

Great rom, I'm loving it to pieces! Clean, fast and stable, just what I was looking for.

I found one minor glitch: the (samsung?) calculator doesn't cover the background entirely but I think you mentioned this was a Samsung problem.

Like dande I'm also missing the WM slide-to-unlock screen I had on my stock 6.5 Omnia2. This youtube video demonstrates how it works (1:20 into the video):

Really weird. You'd almost think that this 6.5.5 version is based on an older branch of the WM6.5 development tree. Could that be possible?

Do you think you'd be able to fix this?

Thanks!

B.

If you turned on the lockscreen through Samsung settings, then do the following to get the slider back:

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\microsoft\Shell\LockScreen]

"Enable"=dword:00000000

Set to:

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\microsoft\Shell\LockScreen]

"Enable"=dword:00000001

Thanks for a quick reply Gary. No joy however, this value was already set to 1 so I'm still stuck with the old "6.1 style" lock screen with the white line in the middle.

Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

OK. I will have to flash a 6.5.x as I just flashed a 6.5 version.

Will look into this.

In another thread it was suggested that this ROM (Apr 22 version) might not have the issue with the vertical scrollbar appearing in Samsung dialer. I have searched the thread for reference to this and from what I can see it looks like it does have this issue however a workaround was suggested that involves shrinking the vertical scrollbar width to nothing. I imagine this would affect all vertical scrollbars including those in other apps.

Could somebody please confirm if the vertical scrollbar appears with Samsung dialer in this ROM?

Many thanks

Create a link to SMS-MMS.exe (in the \Windows folder) and place it in the \Windows\Start Menu\Programs folder.

Not entirely sure what you mean. But if you're refering to the 'phonebook' application, that has something like a modern style 'scroll button' that helps you quick-scroll to A-B-C etc. If you mean the 'phone' application that also pops up when you press the call key, that will present you with a microsoft style list box with the traditional scroll bar. Both look pretty natural to me, I don't see any specific issues.

I change this registry key (and the CPR file), still WM6.1 style lock screen.

and i Found that change the key :

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\microsoft\Shell\LockScreen]

"ShowLockScreenPicker"=dword:00000001 , then Setting=>Lock tab can't show...

normally can select WM6.1 style lockscreen or not here....

I don't really understand. Did you manage to display Lock screen correctly or not?

Did anyone find a solution to that?

Thanks

Will be uploading JC2/23551 this week which fixes the lockscreen problem and

has an patch tool to adjust the page pool size. Default page pool will be 8MB,

but you can change it to:

0MB

12MB

16MB

20MB

Will also have Sonblack's Titanium screen and m.carroll's pureblack 3 theme.

Still need to do some testing.

Looking forward to this new release. I just came back from your 21897 ROM. I just like 6.5.5 much more. So much finger friendly than 6.5...

JC2/23551 now in Post #1

If you are going to change Page Pool size, PLEASE, PLEASE READ all the instructions FIRST.

It will save a lot of confusion and headaches.

Program to change PagePool is a DOS batch file - easy to use.

Feedback happily accepted.

Enjoy! :P
